if your a wiz at wirring and pinning it can be done but it is a beach and a half best thing to do is to just do the mpfi swap in a dpfi cabin harness...its very easy... finding one could be a different story... i am currently parting out my sedan parts car if your interested in the cabin harness ill sell it for 20 bucks and you pay for shipping im in nc 28752

cabin harness has nothing to do with mfpi. at all. lol

you need to change some wires on the ecu and that is it.

what exactly does your ecu plug into sir .. that would be the cabin harness therefore if you were able to put a mpfi cabin harness in a dpfi car there would be no wires to run to the ecu... wich can be done like i said but it is not plug and play...please correct me if im wrong and it can be proven im always up for learning new things...

no the sedan was a original dpfi automatic car i converted to mpfi and 5 speed so the mpfi conversion wires are still there but they would need to be ran to the appropriate injectors/ plugs in order for it to be mpfi.

as far as i know the mpfi si harness is not plug and play in the cabin nor in the engine bay additional wirring would still need to be done either way...

and yes i have tried this before the plug on the driver side that runs the fuel pump and i believe the tailights is different. and would need to be spliced from the donor car to the one you are putting the cabin harness in. im pretty sure the pins are different sizes.. so its really just easier to do the mpfi swap to the original dpfi harness..

so simply just keep the original LX engine harness and to the MPFI wiring to it and use the si ECU with the SI complete engine. im leaving the LX tranny since its a 5 speed and better on Fuel since this is going to be my DD. so literally there is no point in using the SI engine harness.
just the dizzy/ecu/engine w/intake mani.

right but you will need injector plugs off of the si harness for your mpfi swap and its always good to have parts harnesses... unless you plan on using obd2 injectors to rid yourself of a resistor box. then you will need obd2 injector plugs...
