Best place for new CAT to pass smog
My baby, 1991 Civic HB DX did not pass smog due to high HC and NO. Had it diagnosed at a smog repair shop and they said, I need a new CAT.
Just looked at HondaPartsCheap.com and it's $574.06. Is there another place I can get it for a lower price? Thanks

I just went on Ebay when I needed mine. It is considerably cheaper and they have many that are CA legal. Here is one that is roughly around $200:

There are a bunch of other ones on there too, way cheaper than $500.

Walker from Advance is good enough. $108

Bosal if you want something a bit better. $131

MagnaFlow if you live in CA. $258

Depending on your state, you may be eligible for an type of exemption if you spend over an amount on emissions related parts or labor. I know PA is only like $80, but you have to go to a special shop that does that type of exemptions.
