Default 93 integra clock resets HELP

I've checked and replaced the back up fuse and to no avail my clock still resets, and also it only shows the time when i press on the door to press the little button, ANY help would be much appreciated. Also when i turn my lights on the clock still dims, it just only shows time with the little button pressed in. Thank you

Pull the clock qand test the leads in the plug, you should have...

12V constant, hot at all times.
12V switched, hot in run/acc.
12V illumination, hot with park/head lights on.
A ground.

If you have all the above, the problem is the clock. 94
A ground

You've got cracked solder on the PCB. Common problem. Best to just leave it alone, unless you want to risk damaging your dash and are a masochist.

You're going to find it really, really tough to get the clock out of the dash without damaging the vinyl or scratching/breaking the clock.

There is a strong steel spring on either side of the clock. The locking surfaces of the springs are angled such that it's extremely difficult to get the clock to pop forward without a lot of effort. Plus there's literally no place to grab onto the clock for leverage, and you can't just push it out from behind the dash.

I can get the clock out easily I have already taken it apart once. I bought it off ebay to be honest and I opened it to make it amber. The clock didn't work before I did that it was the same as described but I'll look for broken solder joints thank you and all the wires tested just as they should

How did you manage that? I'd love to know how you did it. The ones I've removed were awfully tight.

Well i just use a really small flat head and go easy all the way around, and i also bent the metal clips in a little so it doesn't hold it in as hard, so it is easier to remove if you need to, and it doesn't damage anything. I've probably just gotten lucky with mine for the most part lol

That's essentially the way I've done it, too. But it's really easy to put little scratches in the vinyl that way.
