'92 Honda Accord EX Aftermarket Muffler Suggestions?
I've been looking for a replacement for my stock muffler. Any suggestions? Im going for loud deep sound that doesn't make farting sounds
My budget is anything under $250. Thanks

I might have some on YouTube, but they're probably pretty old when I still had an exhaust leak. It basically sounds lke a stock RSX- S that doesn't get into VTEC. I bought mine for $60 or something off a local forum and it came with the b-pipe that I later sold. That's about the going rate on just the muffler on the other various forums.

In my old 92 EG (god rest that car) i removed the stock resonator due to it rotting and leaking, and installed an aftermarket Thrush glass pack. when i unbolted the stock muffler (when i felt like attracting other racers) it didn't sound like a D16Z6, or a 4 cylinder for that matter. It was really deep and didn't have that buzz of a bee in a beer can, or sound like a box of fart's. I was constantly asked what i had in the car and the entire thing was just stock. No one believed me until i opened the hood.
I got a pretty big one for the size of the vehicle it was a 2" inlet and outlet and about 24" long. If you want a deeper sound that sounds good. I would recommend a glass pack and run it with no muffler. If you want, cut the muffler off right at the back of the muffler and weld another piece of exhaust tubing on and put a decent looking tip on it to make it look like it has a muffler still (cops **** with you less if it looks stock).
