need some input looking for a quiet muffler
I have a del sol ls vtec with a 2.25 exhaust system running a magnaflow muffler, im getting sick of the loud sound.. thinking about trying a oem itr muffler or s2000, to keep a similar flow but with a quieter sound. my only concern would be that a stock muffler might fail due to the flow, im running a n/a set up so im willing to loose a little to gain a quiet sound lol any ideas ?? or any sugestions of an aftermarket muffler that would really bring down the db?? thanks

Stock RSX Type-S muffler. It's quiet as stock at idle and around town but it opens up when you get on it. You'll have to get a muffler shop to modify it for you, but it'll work.

Other company's such as E.S tuning and Vibrant offer Oval chamber exhaust's, much like stock shape, but slightly larger. They are near silent at idle, quiet under normal driving, and let off nice tone under heavy acceleration.
I love my E.S tuning oval chamber, best exhaust ive ever had.

It would be cake for any average muffler shop to bolt and weld up for you in about an hours' time.
