Default anybody done a h23v swap in an integra in NC

Im in the Wilmington/Jacksonville area and am having wiring issues with the swap. it runs but my alternator is not charging the battery and my vtec dosnt work. i have a P28 ecu.

Have you tested for continuity on the wires at VTEC solenoid. One at a time, test from the plug, back to the pin at ECU for continuity. Also verify you have them going to the correct pin at the ECU plug.

What harness did you use? Have you verified that the alternator is good? (i.e. taken it off and had the local parts store test it).

the guy i got it from cut and spliced almost every wire in the car none of the colors match and im new at the electrical aspect. it looks like spaghetti, i dont even know what wire harness is in here. its a nightmare.

Just start over with a different harness man. You're going to drive yourself crazy running down wiring issues in a mess like that...

thanks man i might have to im looking up the up the wire diagrams now but id rather have someone experienced by my side to steer me in the right direction.
