LSD makes noise when making slow turns?
the following excerpt is taken from http://tjshondas.20m.com/l3.htm#noise
"Originally, the LSD equipped transmissions had "LSD" stamped in ink on the outside housing. However, given the age of these transmissions, don't rely on this method of ID. Serial numbers are no indication of year or gearing.
*note* The LSD's in these transmissions make strange noises when making slow tight turns. You can also feel the noise. According to several others polled on this subject, the noise is normal? On one reccomendation, I replaced my Valvoline 5w-30 transmission oil with Honda Manual Transmission Fluid. The Honda MTF does indeed quiet down the LSD mechanism. After putting some miles on the Honda oil, the feel and noise is substantially reduced."
Anyone else experience this? I have the same noise on my b16 with Y1 with LSD. Maybe its just normal. I use HONDA MTF and it didn't quiet it down any.

breaka_1_9....have you had similar problems? anyone?
i do know that the Kaaz is noisey as hell. After tbone broke an axle at the track, we replaced the axle and went out for a drive. there is a cul-de-sac at the end of my road and we were going around and around to see if the axle was ok. the Kaaz was making lots of noises, which we thought might have been a bad replacement axle, but the car stuck to the road...even in the rain!
is the noise supposed to be like a faint grinding noise that you can feel in the steering wheel? i just installed a S80 trans in my integra and its making a slight grinding/vibrating noise when turning at slow speeds. i have it topped off with honda MTF. i'm gonna give it a few more days of driving before i really start worrying lol.
