help! running a code 4
Ok so I recently purchased a 95 accord from my buddy. He had the car for a while it ran great until the camshaft broke on him. I told him I'd buy the car from him and i just replaced the head. Put everything back together tried to adjust the valves the best I could. It was a bit more complicated on the accord than my civic. And the timing belt as well with the balance shaft belt. Started right up but idles poorly. The car seems to me missfiring on cylinder 1 because I noticed my timing light didnt have a consistent flicker and sometimes it would even cut off for a second. I took it on the highway it ran a code 4. Went home adjusted some more things now it's a code 4 and 22. Any clue as to what I did wrong? What causes a code 4? Timing was excellent and even the marks lined up good for the ignition timing. Could the distributor just be bad? It ran fine when he had it before the camshaft broke.
Yes the head is rebuilt. Has new valves springs and cam. I checked the spacings on the exhaust side this morning and they seemed perfect. It seems to me it's electrical. Is there a ground wire I missed? On my civic there's one on the thermostat housing. Where it that at on the accord?
