How can I put a Honda civic hatchback front bumper on a 4 door civic?
Is there a guide to put a hatchback bumper on a 4 door civic? All I could find was this one: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/%5Bfaq%5D-how-fit-eg-coupe-bumper-sedan-872476/
All I understood was that you need to bend the hatchback bumper half way so it will fit. Is this true? I bought a hatchback bumper at certifit and I was thinking of putting it on a 4 door civic. But the hatchback bumper is wider than the 4 door bumper. How could I put this hatchback bumper on a 4 door civic?

Last I checked, the rules still required basic vehicle information...
Oh hey, they still do!
For all technical questions, the following information MUST be included in the first post: vehicle (year, make, model)...
No need to check too many times. We all know this. Its that time of the yr where the younger teens, or whoever, wants to buy a car and start modding it. They join a forum and its like they expect the wealth of info to come to them.

The hatchback bumper doesn't fit on the sedan, so is there a way to put it on? For your information I am not the one working on this car. Of course I liked the way the hatchback looked like and I wanted to make it fit on the sedan. But if there is no way to put it on then oh well.
Sorry to bother but I just went back and got a sedan bumper at certifit. Looks like it's the same size and won't fit. Could this be because it needs to be heated to fit?

I think you're doing something wrong, you shouldn't need to modify or heat anything. I have bought certi fit stuff and never had issues.
If you're leaving it the way you did in those pics then you haven't even finished installing it for you to claim it doesn't fit. There's still two clips, one on either side, left to install. Hell, use zipties.
I never knew the front bumpers differed between coupe, sedan, and hatchback. Learn something new everyday.
Yes used OEM is what's best. I didn't think this was possible but when I bought a hatch back in 2010 it had a 4 door bumper, no fog light holes in front which is what concerned me. Took it off and sold it too another EG owner and it fit fine. Weird IMO
