Car does not want to start all the time!!
My ef had been shiting on me... fix one thing something else goes wrong. Had to replace my battery post mount for the positive terminal. Seems like than it hasn't wanted to start, but there's days it starts no problem. Found out that the positive wire to the fuse box was spliced so I ran a new one. Still yet it does not want to start... Battery had been charged since than but I can just connect jumper cables to my wife's car battery without starting it and my turns over no problem. If anyone can give me an insight on what could be going wrong plz help me. Thanks
clean all grounds, maybe add 1 or 2 grounds... the trans ground and main ground from battery are the 2 that prevent the car from starting unless jumped.
* hot/cold weather will heat/shrink the contact for the grounds, reason y it only starts some of the times on its own

Could be ur relay or dizzy too. When u say it doesn't want to start. Does it crank?
Does it have spark? Does the fuel pump prime?

I varies on when it wants to start. Does not want to turn over at all. Dash lights and radar come on when I turn the key but is like my battery is dead. I have checked grounds and all seem to be of but I can swap out with new wires. I hear the relay click when the key is turned to start but nothing. I just replaced it when I did my new thermostat bc I didn't put the ground for that back on so I went and got a new one so I just kept it in. Someone told me that I might have a bad cell in the battery. Put it on charge again today and it was only at 50% and I charged it last week and there is not anything to keep the power on anymore. Ill check it in the morning and replace my grounds and go from there next.
