Default Speedometer issue

90 hf w/B18A1 sand speedo doesn't work how do I get it up and reading speed again?

unlike the rest of the dash... ur speedo should be a cable. 15-20$ fix and like 30mins

Sorry about the delay I've searched far and wide and cannot find a replacement sensor or cable anywhere and my car doesn't have one currently in it do you know who makes one or where I can find one new?

junkyard or ebay would be easiest to buy. and u should be able 2 folo it from the back of dash all the way down. has the speedo ever worked? if so then u have 1 and its prob pulled out. if no then its either broke/removed

this. i have a speedo from my old b18a1 trans that i'll sell you for cheap. but make sure it's the problem first.

I don't have a vehicle speed sensor at all but I'll double check just to be 100% and thank you guys for the help

It's built into the speedometer.

You are right... sort of.
Your car doesn't have a VSS.
It has a speed pulser.

It looks like this


(Newer cars have a VSS mounted in the transmission.)


This gets mounted in your transmission


And the speedo cable joins the two components together.

It appears to be called a gear holder assembly.
Is that the part you are missing?
