Car is a B18C type R EG4. It starts/runs fine but when pressing the gas pedal, the engine seems to cut out as if no fuel/spark is going into the engine. As if you've switched off the ignition. There are no fault codes other than a 20 Electronic Load Detector. I've tried replacing the map sensor, throttle position sensor and distributor to known working ones but the problem remains. Not enough info. ECU? Other mods? Check timing? Etc?

 

standard obd2 itr ecu. no mods other than vtec controller which is switched to normal because it is useless (previous owner installed it) timing should be all right as I just changed the cam belt and it runs fine when it does not decide to cut out. wrong timing would cause it to do it every time not randomly.
