Default Flat-Black Exhaust?

What do you guys think of a flat black 5Zigen Fireball muffler? I mean the actual muffler being flat-black, not just the piping.

What kinda of paint did you use? Regular flat-black or that high heat stuff?

I had to get rid of the *Bling* in my Trust system. Flat Balck Rattle can worked just fine.

Flat black hi-temp paint works nicely...I had a can of some with a VHT label on it. Definitely recommended if you're going for the sleeper look...cuts down on looks from the stunna crowd and law enforcement types.

Should I scuff up the muffler a bit so the paint will stick? What grit should I use? Thanks for all the replies!

do you run a rear sway bar ?

I'm wondering about clearence issues with a 22mm rear bar and that exhaust.

i scuffed + cleaned mine w/ some simple green and a brillo pad. i went to walmart and bought the high heat paint. put about 3-4 coats, no chips yet and its been a year.

not to mention the "revs" from others has gone down ten fold and the cops havent stopped me since. (i used to get stopped like once a month for no reason)

plus imo it looks better, i cant get used to a shiny exhaust.

i have a pic but it sucks in quality.
