I have a real one and a fake one here in my shop, both on running cars and both work and do not leak. The only thing I did notice after spending about an hour comparing them is that the fake one had a few bits of slag inside from the machining process that I had to remove with a pick and a file but other than that it's a pretty good piece. Really, for 30 some bucks shipped for the fake one......it's decent.

The problem with either having stuff made in China or having easy parts to ripoff and duplicate is that eventually someone will copy it in China.
All that an aftermarket fuel rail does is give the ability to flow more than the stock one. Provided the diameter of the feed hole is larger than it should work as intended. It isn't stressed, isn't torqued to a large value, and doesn't spin or move. Pretty much any material could work for a rail so it would be very hard to screw one up as far as manufacturing one went.
The question will be is your budget more important than your values.
That one could go either way . . .

Me so cornfused. Makes me curious though as my AEM rail had a few shavings still inside when I pulled it out of the box as well. Then again, I bought mine from an "Authorized AEM Dealer". Maybe just boycott AEM fuel rails and buy legit parts from a known source instead of worrying about if a $100 fuel rail is real or not?
As far as the stickers go for my parts I have bought anything electronic related gets the Silver AEM logo with the pusle wave through it. Everything else is the typical AEM yellow logo in the box. 2 stickers in each case.

Wow, the knockoffs have gotten a lot better in the past few years . . . I would imagine they still don't have a QC department but visually they look a lot closer to the name brand stuff we have here.
I bought a $80 wastegate on ebay back in 2006 or 2007 for a junkyard build I didn't care about and the QC was awful. I ordered it with a 7lbs spring and the valve didn't come off the seat until 15lbs. Casting flash was terrible and basically no deburring was done. Fittings were that crappy chinese pot metal.
Fixed all of that and it worked fine but it wasn't even close to being a bolt-on and go deal.

i ordered a real one a few days ago, spend like 120$ .. vs 30 theres no reason to buy a real one... the only diff is a mf sticker!!!!

What do you need a bigger volume fuel rail for? Doesn't matter how much they flow. If your injectors don't suck the rail dry, it's a pointless "upgrade"

the issue with places like that,is they sell items like belts, control arms etc, that could end up killing someone, no real racing harness costs 20 bucks
