Default Is it possible to run forged floating pin pistons on stock press pin rod?

I've heard that its possible and I've also heard it would be fine to use the stock pressed pin in the forged piston with the stock rods? This sounds like a failure waiting to happen to me though. I feel you should use what it was originally designed to be used with but am curious if it is possible or even ok to do. Would it be reliable? No pin seizure or loose tolerances ect?

Definitely not. They need to be matched. Also - why are you running stock rods with forged pistons? If you're spending the money for forged pistons, why are you skimping by reusing the stock rods?? They will no doubt be your weakest link. Spend the money and upgrade your rods.
