hey guys, its been a long while since ive been on here, I did the 5 speed swap in my 93 ex my question is how important is it that I put the 5 speed ecu in it? I had a chipped ecu base mapped for a turbo set up but now I'm off the boost and want to pass smog any help would be awesome thanks in advance -mike

 

the stock ecu will be required to pass smog

 

I know I will need a stock ecu for smog I was wondering if I need to get a 5 speed ecu or with the automatic ecu work for me with out the tcu

 

Get the one for a manual trans

They are easy to come by and it will relieve any CEL/D4 Codes and ignition and fuel map issues.
