I just picked up a eg coupe and was wondering if anyone has welded in a new seat mount plate the one thats welded to the floor pan and holds the drivers side left rear bolt in. Mine is cracked and broke and previous owner but a bolt in it. Any ideas was going to go to just yard and cut one out.

I would think scrap yard and cut one out a few inches out around it would be fine. Just make sure it's welded in well!
