Default p1399 code misfire

I know there is s lot out there on this code. But it all seems to be dummys not doing the simple things first.

P1399: manufacturer control ignition system or misfire

I have a 2002 Honda accord 2.3L.

I've replaced:
Distributor
Wires
Plugs
Cleaned the injectors (pulled them out, ran electric to them, and used a sergine)
And have a bottle of seafoam in the tank

What could this be That's causing this misfire?

I haven't done the compression test yet, but if it reveals low numbers... What's my next step?

Well, low numbers are not as bad as no consistency (if they aren't VERY low) - if one cylinder is 130 PSI and other three are 180 PSI - then you have a problem, solving which will cost alot. Then there are two ways: repairing the existing engine, or installing a used one. Does your engine burn oil?

I finally gotten around to doing a compression test but the tester was broken or something. I couldn't get it to read anything on any cylinder. I did notice that cylinder #1 spark plug was black and the other (3) were white. Cylinder #1 I can’t get it to make any reaction to unplugging the injector or even just pulling the plug off the spark plug while the car is running. I do have spark on #1.

I guess at this point I am just going to take it to the garage. I feel like I’ve done everything I can and know and let them run a compression test on the car. I’m tired of messing with it.

Try swapping the injectors and see if misfire moves to the cylinder with injector from #1

I have multiple random misfires p300 and a p1399 manufacturer control when i connect the ODBII reader. I have replaced all the spark plugs with NGK irridium plugs, new coils, new thermostat, new fan control switch, new radiator, new hoses, back flushed the heater core, changed the oil..no visible oil leaks on the floor or loss of oil, no visible leaks of any kind on the floor, but white smoke comes out of tailpipe. Car runs good for about 10 miles before it starts to shudder & overheat. I did compression test on all cylinder chambers: 1=112-115, 2=95-95, 3=96-97, 4=100-120, 5=114-113, 6=123-123. What could be the problem? is it the ECU/ECM or the engine is bad?

Ulysses - White smoke often means coolant is getting into your engine combustion cycle. One possibility is a head gasket issue. Since you also mention overheating that also sounds like head gasket. You replaced the radiator, was there anything weird in the fluid when draining? Like sludge or weird colors in the fluid? Overheating after a radiator change could also just mean you have a bubble and need to burp the system some more. Has the radiator fluid level gone down?
