If I spent $3-4K on the swap and then wasted the money to open up the B16b stamped 'GSR' block to install aftermarket items just to have that B16b stamp and then thought tuning it on Crome after burning all of that money was a good idea, I would feel like a tool asking if it would work.

If you can afford a B16b, you can afford Hondata or NepTune. If you can't afford either of those two, then why do you have a B16b block, and what would make you think opening up an already finely tuned engine accomplished you?

You are not hitting 210WHP with a B16b under 10K RPMs and without at least 13:1 compression. This means not streetable due to the fuel being used being nearly $10 a gallon, or relying heavily on E85.

Go ahead and throw your several thousand dollar build under Crome, just don't blame anyone else when it blows up.

Wish this obsession with Type R would die off. 15 years and it's Type-R this and Type-R that. Enough already, those guys making those sub-10 second passes are not using Type-R blocks. The fastest road racing cars are not using Type-R blocks. Why does every ricer want to use a Type-R block?

B16 with no change in compression, chrome will get the job done.

I would be surprised if you break the 190whp mark.

I would go with whatever your tuner is most comfortable with. A specific program won't do you any good if your tuner doesn't have the softwear to use it.

Outside of that - I personally would do Neptune. I know people were having allot of problems with Chrome, the issue may or may not have been resolved yet.

Talk with tuner, do what they recommend. If door is open, I would suggest Neptune.

Neptune is cheap and can do everything that hondata can do.
