Default '91 Prelude 2.1L

I would appreciate any advise as to whether or not a '91 Integra B18 transmission can be put on a '91 Prelude 2.1L engine. I have been told that it can, and also that it cannot. I would appreciate it, if I could get some confirmation. Thank you.

It can not, the b20 and b21 in the preludes is not the same as the b18 found in integras and the b20 found in crvs

Thank you so much for your reply. Do you know of any other transmissions that would give better low-end torque than the stock transmission, that are compatible with the 1991 2.1L engine?

Unfortunately the 2.1 already came with the lowest ratio transmission it should be a D2A4 if it's original.

Thank you for your reply. I race a small paved oval/figure-8 in Indianapolis. My '91 Prelude is just a tad slower out of the tight corners than the 2nd generation Preludes(single cams), the Civics, and the Dodge Neons. I was hoping I could compensate for the disadvantage, with a lower-geared transmission.
