HELP! I used the door key to try and start the car, the key turns forwards but i can't get it back to the off position to get the key out! Any tips on how to get the key out? And have i ruined the key cylinder or ignition???
Any help would be great, if you need more info let me know. Don't have extra money to spend to call someone but if i have to i have to

 

If you can get it to the 1 position you can get the lock cylinder out after buying a new one. You need to take the steering covers off. Then push the pin in after turning the key to the 1 position and pull the cylinder out with the key.
