Default Who's using GReddy E-Manage?

I think I will be getting rid of my V-AFC for a GReddy E-Manage. Seems like a much more sophisticated tuning tool. Anyone else plan on or is using this system?

well...here's my limited knowledge on the Greddy E manage...on paper...the system seems like a very good unit to run...the only problem is that theres preactically no one in the US that can Tune the damn thing. a reason why its so hard to find a "qualified" tuner for E manage is bc the unit has soooo many options and the tuning map is considerably larger than other stand alones...ie Power FC
i think having the E manage would be awesome...just a matter of finding a tuner...
i know the tuner i go to is taking classes for qualification on the E manage.
if your in SO cali....hit up dynamic autosports...
just a matter of time before he's ready...
also..you might want to consider the power FC unit...
good luck...

Greddy Emanage and PowerFC pretty much just control map voltage just like the
VAFC does. THe Emanage does serve as an additional injector controller though.

The E-Manage looks like a good item for the PRICE and I doubt if its any more difficult to tune than the other controllers on the market.

I'm looking at getting one myself. There is a "User's Group" on Yahoo with International membership putting E-Manage units on an incredible variety of vehicles. Lots of info there. There is also a shop that specializes in Supras that is selling the E-Manage and software at a good price.

It isn't a Hondata, but it has some advantages. Depends what you want to do and how far you want to take your car.

The difference between hondas and other cars is we use a speed density system
whereas they use an airflow system. With the airflow system you can increase
airflow sensor voltage and the ecu will see more air and add more fuel.
With a honda map sensor, the ecu doesnt want to see more than 0 vacuum so you
cannot increase more than that. And since at WOT you should be at 0 already
anyway, you can understand the dilemma.

Indeed it is better than the VAFC.Much better tunability ranges. If you cannot get ppl to tune it than consider the Buddyclub Racing Spec computer. This unit does pretty much the E-manage and it comes with English manual and very user friendly.

Hey AJ,

What can you tell us about the Buddy Club Computer? What are its features and what does it cost?

Thanks,
John

The Racing Spec computer is a unit which you can tune your A/F base on voltage of the map sensor. You will need a laptop to plug in to the unit to tune the A/F. It is like a advanced version of a VAFC. Differences are acceleration pump can be widely tune and the map ranges is much bigger and more precise than a VAFC. For tuning the Vtec point , you can adjust it to be ON or OFF depends on how the the throttle open as well so for ppl who ever tried this unit , they will say the VAFC is garbage.

Suprised the AEM is not mentioned.
When you are all done buying all the add-ons to the E-Manage you could have bought the AEM EMS.

E-Manage with all the non-FI harnesses (and with software) comes out to $500. The AEM, which may be a better unit, I have no idea, is about twice that.

Unless you have found a better source???? If so, fess up!

I guess the price isn't as high as I thought. And the EMS is far superior.

"the EMS is far superior. "

Cool! Since I haven't bought an programmable of any sort yet, what are the EMS advantages for a built-up naturally aspirated R?

Thanks!
