95 Accord EX No Start
Hi everyone, I have just finished my first clutch job. Got it done and even test drove it a few times. The last time I tested it I went back to fire it up and got nothing. I thought it was the starter, had it tested and starter was fine. I havent formally tested the battery but I did try to jump it off hoping that would boost the current, nothing. After some research i found that the ignition switches were recalled on these vehicles so I change it and nothing. The car does absolutely nothing when the key is switched to the I position. Dash lights/fuel pump and a click come on in position II and nothing changes when the key is held in position 3 to start it. Could i have gotton another bad part or is it something in the wiring or the battery after all? Thanks in advanced for your help!
First thing I would do is inspect/clean/tighten the battery cables - both. While there it wouldn't hurt to clean the "other" end of the ground cable where it connects to the body and then the trans.
