So I recently purchased a car that had a "lifesaver" installed in it... ( for those who don't know it's a breathalyzer that you have to blow into before car will start) anyways.... I took it and had the company who installed it remove it. Car ran fine for a few weeks and now won't start.....😑😑😑. I think it's the starter but not sure... It's a 1994 Honda Accord getting power to everything so it's not battery but will not start... You can hear the ignition try to engage and the fuel pump kick on... But no clicking sound even that is typical of bad starter... Any ideas? Worried that the "life saver" screwed something up in the electric system...

Simple test.
With the key in the III(start) position jiggle the tumbler.
Pretty common for the switch to wear out.
Verify battery connections are clean and tight.
Verify main grounds, bonding jumpers, are clean and tight.
Verify the battery is fully charged. 11.99V is a dead battery.
Verify the (+) cable to the starter is clean and tight.
Verify there is battery voltage at the large starter cable.
With the car in Park/Neutral, chock the wheels, and jumper a wire between the small terminal on the starter to the large terminal.
If the starter spins there is a problem between the wire on the solenoid to the key switch.
If no activation verify there is power on the small wire to the starter solenoid from the ignition switch. Connect voltmeter to negative and solenoid wire. Turn key to III(start) and observe voltage. If no or low voltage it may be the contacts inside the ignition switch are worn out. ~$30 to replace from Rockauto.com

Thank you... Went through and did all you suggested... Ended up being the starter so new starter is in and all is right in the world again! Lol I just recently got the car and I don't think they ever changed the starter from the original Honda starter... Thanks again for you help!
