which tire size is better???
i need temporary tires and found a great deal on some used tires...
the seller has 225/45 and 205/50 tires... these are going on 17x7 rims
which tire would be best? would 225 be too wide? or 50 be too thick? or should i just shell out the extra money and get some brand new falken ziex 215/45/17ZR tires that i found for $320? thanks

the 225's are going to be too wide to fit, and the 50 sidewall is gonna look pretty big on your rim. but if you went with one or the other, it would have to be the 205.
anyone here have any experience with the falkens?
i heard the tread life sucks on them...
and would the 50 series tire rub? i took out the wheel lining crap btw

falkens are fine, 225 is not too wide it will fit on a rim width of 7"-8.5" and a 50 series aspect ratio on a 17" rim is waay to thick even 45 you need between 40-35 depending on what tire with you choose to stay within stock diameter
does anyone make use of the billions of tire size calculators as well as tire info out there????
go on the falken site, learn more
