99 Civic SI. Factory OEM Alarm Problem. Won't Start.
Hey guys,
Got a 99 Si that has the factory Honda alarm add on.
- Problem is intermittent.
Sometimes the OEM key fob won't unlock the doors. When this happens I'll manually unlock the door and try to start the engine. The starter won't engage and the alarm will sound. I believe the alarm doesn't recognize that the car was manually unlocked.
Just wondering if any of you have ran into this problem. Worse case scenario I'll go ahead and disconnect the factory alarm add on.
