92 civic rack & pinion question
I want to plug my rack & pinion since it's a power steering rack, I want to use AN fittings to do so. What 6 an fitting thread size would I need to thread into the rack & pinion threads?
Don't even need that. Just loop it, which means you only need a hose barb with an 1/4 NPT threading, some teflon tape, and a hose. You can install a breather so you can add fluid later as well.

If you plug it, the seals will not last long and you will end up having to replace the rack eventually. Looping it allows the rack to stay lubricated, which usually is a good thing for metal on metal contact and strain.
^^
if you still want power steering you could try flaring the tube or compression fitting..dont know the size though.. or just find another rack and pinion with the hose intact
