Replace steering rack or can I rebuild?
What up HT,
I have a 92 EG si, and I've noticed that there is a fair amount of play in my steering. My car obviously had factory P/S, but the owner before me just removed the lines from the rack, and didn't plug the holes. Im sure it has been drove without any fluid for who knows how long, before I got it. My question is, can I rebuild my rack and plug the holes or should I just find a CX or VX rack? I do NOT plan on running p/s.
Thanks,
-Reggie

Forget rebuilding it, if you're NOT running P/S. Just get the non-power rack and you're good to go. And don't forget to do your alignment.
