Default 1990 CRX Si witha k24a2 mounted

So yesterday I bought a crx with a k24a2 mounted in it. The guy I bought it from said it just needed to be wired up. Well after lots of searching I came to find that this is a doable swap just not with the auto trans thats in it now. Many write ups say to steer away from the auto as it is much larger and mounts differently. I would like to keep the auto if it can be done. But this is far from my comfort zone. Anyone that has any thing they want to chime in with would be great. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like a helluva project. A little more than wiring I think LOL. Are the axles in it? Shift linkage? What kind of engine mounts?

It is kind of tough to tell from the pictures, but is the transmission mounted? or is it just sitting in there? I am building a 1991 Civic Si with a K24A2 as well and I have read that it is very difficult to run an auto and if you decide to go that route then you will have a ton of modifications to do. There is no aftermarket support for the auto trans so everything you do will more than likely have to be custom fabricated. You have a beast of a motor there and arguably one of the best Honda engines of all time but it sure does look like wiring is only a tiny bit of what has to be done to get this car going. Good luck.

Interesting widebody kit.
Looks liek a rough project, but should be a good product if it ever gets completed.

the mounts are for a manual k24 swap but the rear mount and drivers side where cut and welded to work with the auto
