anyone have some tips or tricks on making the engine bay look clean and uncluttered> ? i see some pics of some engine bays and they look so nice but it looks like you cant see anything, wires hoses?

 

relocate battery, get slim fan, detail the engine bay, and put your wiring harness under the motor and under the frame rails.

 

how does one relocate the wiring harness? can it be pulled that far?

take ur ac, ps, and cc off the damn car and it'll look a lot cleaner!!!!

 

im in the process of doing the same thing !!.. i saw a 240 at the iasca show in charlotte and he went all out on the engine bay .. every and i mean every! wire was hidden some place most of his engine harnest was routed inbetween the fenders and came out the bottem and connected where they needed to be you had to look really hard to find them .. just try and clean up most of your wiring and hide what you can .. good luck!

run the wiring harness through the fireall..instead of having connection points all on the shock housings

 

i agree. take out your powersteering and air conditioning if you really want an uncluttered bay. doing so will get rid of those drivebelts, pulleys, air condenser, etc. and u can see the ground looking down. thats cool
