Hey guys, I have a 95' EG hatch, bought the car because i wanted a project got it for cheap with a few goodies, had it prepped for winter storage and took it out a little bit ago and finally gave her a good look, anyway my question is, 1995 Honda Civic DX Hatchback.. did it have power steering? Is there anyway i can get it? How much would it be roughly and what exactly would i need if i can?

Only thing thats confusing me is that i do notice the car has a EK steering wheel/column, and the a/c delete aswell aha so nothing is there for me to pick up on, and well google isnt the greatest some times!

I probably sound like the biggest amateur but theres just a few things that i dont know and need help here and there aha, please help

 

I dont know how exactly to tell. But you're gonna need a power steering pump and the fasteners to bolt it in. The belt to run it. You're gonna need the power steering hoses. The power steering rack and pinion. And power steering fluid. There may be other things but I dont think so. I just took mine out of the car to put new suspension bits in.

I would suggest getting this stuff (minus the belt and fluid) from a junkyard civic.

 

Can i get any of these parts out of an EK buy any chance?

 

sorry but I couldn't tell ya. I dont know jack about the hatchbacks, but from my understand (which could easily be incorrect so dont hold me to this) is that the 5th Gen civic and Integra is all the same chassis so it should be able to come out of any civic from our generation.
