what is that thing right under the fuel filter?
Hi,
I'm fixing and cleaning my engine bay.
Now I noticed an cylinder object, black, right under the fuel filter..
When I check wire tucked engine bays its gone.
My question is, what is the English name for it and what does it do, and can I remove it or get one that is like a lot smaller?
I know it's not an oil catch can..

Hmm, I read a lot that it's bad for the engine.. but it also looks kinda ugly over there, I was checking my engine bay pictures but there is no really other place to move it to
It's not bad for the engine, if it were more than half of the guys on here would not have their cars running
Just make sure you seal up the fuel system completely though.
