d16y3 block PM3-4 head d15 tranny 95 dx hatch non vtec.
Whats the best tranny to run with a d16y3 from japan? I'm currently running a d15 tranny. I heard a 96 ex tranny would be good but im wondering if theres anything better help please.

just better in general because ive heard from multiple people my gears are long with the d15 tranny so i should get a 96 ex or cx tranny. But i was wondering if there was anything better.

^Right on point. The "general" answer is the higher up in trim level the tighter the gearing seems to get. Keep in mind that's the general answer.
