I wrecked the hatch a few weeks ago and now I have a green front end. Im getting some money back from school from scholarships( I have 2 100% scholarships) and Im trying to decide whether to make my car look nice or just say F it and get a Greddy(SOHC) turbo kit.

There's a guy locally that will spray it for $200. Then I gotta buy materials and have someone prep it. if I paint it Im painting the whole car(it needs it).

 

Primer it and get the turbo kit.

 

ide just replainted the mismatched colored pannels with gloss black spray paint (at least it will look good from a couple feet back) actually if you can paint well and have a decent matching spray paint(to the rest of the body) you can get it looks pretty good for prolly under $20

thing about spending alot of money on a new paint job is, what are you gonna feel like if someone keys your car? rock flys up and chips it? **** like that

ide go ahead and get the turbo kit and try and spray paint it good.

You're getting the turbo kit for $200+ (lets not get ridiculous with the plus sign either).

 

Huh? If i spend the money to paint the car (which will probably be a little under $1k after prep/materials) I probably wont have enough to get the turbo kit.
Ill definately get a Greddy kit, ie. no Homegrown shiot. I know what the kit goes for.

 

get the turbo then get in an accident.. the insurance will pay for the paint.

just make sure you dont mess up the turbo in the accident.
and while your at, it get another civic.. preferable si or ex, in the accident with you.
make sure they are totaled. then buy their engine from the junkyard after. take one down with you.

 

get it painted man... you dont race everyday......but you have to to look at it everyday.

 

The ZEX is actually still in my car ( taking it out after school), but I dont really want it anymore. Turbo is calling .

Thats actually the reason Im thinking about not painting it. It doesnt really bother me having a green front end, but I do get wierd looks everywhere i go and my friends give me ****. Oh, and I DO race just about everyday...if not I at least get on it .
