Default Question about auto tranny

Almost a year since I got my auto 94 Prelude Si. I know how to drive a manual now and I'm gonna get my 5th gen soon. Anyways, My tranny shifts fine through all gears, downshifts fine and no problems. It just shifts sort of rough at lower speeds and smooth at higher speeds. I noticed she would never shift under 2k RPM's. She would shift exactly at 2000 but not under that. I also noticed when i start her in the morning I let the gas off and the car would move and the rpm's would rise to 1900 with no gas. when warm it doesn't rise. My friend has a auto 92 lude and his shifts at 1500. his tranny has 302k mine has 209k . Maybe just getting old? or the tranny cable needs adjusting?

When was the last time the trans filter or even the fluid was replaced?

One of the only automatic cars I have owned was a 04 lancer oz rally and had a little trouble with a clunk going into 3rd and slipped going into 4th, changed the fluid and filter and it was back to a good ol' shifting autotragic trans again.

I'm assuming never. It doesn't seem that dirty, but it shifts fine but won't shift under 2k RPM hot or cold.

Could possibly be a solenoid issue? Something to research perhaps.

On first start ups a engine should rev slightly higher then normal to warm up. 1,900 rpm's does seem a little high though...

I dont know much about auto's, but I have seen them do funny things to throttle at idle. Even different idle speeds depending on which gear is selected....? Damn auto's lol....

I remember when I was timing my car I had the service connector jumped and d4 was throwing out codes I remember reading and it was related to the solenoids. even if the tranny shifts normal it still shifts rough at lower speeds. maybe my solenoids are dirty? i will jump it again and see if anything comes up.
