I thought my 96 ex civic would have the cat underneath and not on the manifold ? Everything I read says it shouldn't be on the cat Anyone ever seen this before. I decoded the vin and it is a ex but the cats on the manifold

 

someone swapped the manifold then. it should be under the car. verify that you have a d16y8.
