Default body twist

So the body on my EJ8 is tweeked slightly the previous onwer ran over a curb on the driver side causing to sit 1 inch lower on that side the oil pan was replaced i had to replace the steel wheel, struts, and exhaust manifold. I've had the car for over a year and done several mods to it mostly suspension I'm wondering if there is any additional bracing I can add to stiffen the car to stop if from tweeking anymore? I was thinking subframe connector or chassis brace like the foxbody mustangs or miatas

Wait, your car is twisted from running over a curb.. I highly doubt that was the cause of it. It takes a heavy impact blow to bend a frame rail. It's not like they were designed to hold up thousands of pounds of car or anything after all... Oh wait, they were...

You're not bending one by running over a curb, if you could all of my car would be a pretzel already. I run over the curb outside the garage at least 3 times a week here. Likely something else under the car is bent, most likely a lower control arm.

Whhyyyy would you put all that money into a bent car? Before you spend any more money get the frame straightened or buy another shell. 1" is a big ******* deal.

It was mostly the front driver strut was bent after replacing it the car came up over half a inch but the car still sits lower plus don't have time to do swaps

That does NOT fix FRAME damage. The frame and suspension are two separate components

Suddenly I remember why I don't come into this forum any longer. I'm surprised you passed a DOT inspection. Assuming its legally registered...

Sometimes inspection doesn't even include emissions.

that is all that mine is

don't have time to do swaps
that's bs, you've spent more time doing suspension work. There's no way you do not have a day or two to switch stuff over

You just said the strut was bent. Which is it? Is the frame actually bent with visible damage that you can take a picture of it for us or what? Right now I have no idea what you are saying is bent.

Seriously though, you would have to drive into a wall to bend a frame rail. I know, because I have bent a frame rail before. It's not easy to bend one, it takes a hard and forcible impact to do it. Running over a curb is not going to bend one.

As for putting parts on a bent car, I see nothing wrong with fixing everything on the car with intentions of sripping it and putting on a straighter chassis. I plan on doing the same thing with my EG sedan. I'm only fixing mechanical things while using the chassis as a DD until I find a cleaner one to strip this one and build the other.

I personally think inspections are over rated with some of the cars that I have seen on the road. I live in AZ and they only check for emissions equipment, doesn't matter if the stuff actually works as long as the sniffer test is passed.

The strut piston was bent and wouldnt fully extend from bottoming out I replaced it which lifted the car back up a little but still sits lopsided so I also replaced the springs all the way around, front control arms, both swaybar, front and rear brace, and all the bushings which didn't change the lopsided problem but made it handle better and there is no visible frame damage

It honestly sounds like the car has been hit. My advice just makes sure the car is 100% as mechanically sound as possible while you do whatever you plan on doing and then find a cleaner/straighter chassis that is all stock or close to it and start swapping parts over. It saves you the trouble of having to deal with a chassis that is shot without wasting too much time or money.

Of course you might want to keep the old chassis around for spare parts if you find a straight chassis that is missing something, which is not unheard of with 20 year old cars.

Yea I'm kinda leaning to a 4 door civic or integra but if I go integra my parts are useless
