hiding front mount intercooler? possible?
my friend wants to know if he gets turbo with a front mount intercooler, if there's anyway of hiding it, or making it look less noticable. post picss if you can

im not sure what kind of car you've got, but check out the turbo R. if it was anodized black, you wouldnt know it was there.

Paint is generally a pretty good heat barrier, thus negating the point of the intercooler to begin with. He could go with an air-to-water intercooler, but that's a lot more qork than an air-air.
A. Paint it black
B. Do the home depot mesh either black or whatever color you want....
If you wanna see how it looks check my sig (the mesh that is... my intercooler isen't black, but I think you could get the "sleeper" idea by looking)

why not just paint the intercooler black, or get a side mount intercooler?
There is actual flat black intercooler paint. It's a bad pic but this is my friends DA and it's has a FMIC, you can't see it unless you get within 2 feet of it. Very fun for preying on others.
i would try to stay away from the chicken wire... grill craft makes a perfect fitting black grille, might hide it from a distance & at night.
