I bought a car on online 2000 civic 2 door with a b16a swap ran great for 2000 miles and then my fast idle valve plastic ring pushed out so I checked that and fixed that my jumpy idle issue but we'll trying to diagnose The problem I broke the tps sensor so I bought a new one and tried replacing it could not get a reading above 3.2 which still gives me a code 41 and 7 which is tps can someone help me out here its obd1

First do a simple test
take the TPS out of the throttle body and plug it in.
Turn the key on to the ON position with the engine off
get your multimeter and manually spin the inside of the TPS and see if it will give you the 5V when u spin it to the max. if not then its a bad TPS
if it does then u need to adjust it as you install it. 0.5V with the throttle fully closed and 5V at WOT

You sure it's code 41 (o2 sensor).
TPS is code 7 and normally it should run fine with .53v-4.3v
After install the new TPS did you reset the ECU.
Maybe it's code 5 MAP and while work at it you switched plugs with the TPS one.

Yes it was code 7 and 41 now I got it just down to code 41 tps is in and the voltage got set to .5 closed and 4.63 wot I still believe I'm in limp mode cant rev past 4 grand and still bucks while driving top speed I can reach is 78 miles and that's at 4 grand any ideas also idk if this matters I never got a map sensor code but when I got the car it was never plugged in I plugged it into my intake awhile back when it was unplugged from the intake it ran fine for a few weeks that I had it not hooked up
So replace your O2 sensor then. The bad TPS can cause a rich condition that will over time eat the O2 sensor up which sounds like what you had going on. Never let a Code 7 go on for more than absolutely necessary. I keep extra TPS in the road side kit along with a multimeter and some other things for her pleasure. Not saying you have to, but it's worth considering.
So I checked my tps and made sure it was running smooth I noticed it and a bad spot in the throttle body where my voltage would o/l on the multimeter I guess I need a new throttle body
I just replaced the tps got another one on the way I don't have the multimeter with me so can make the video Here's a video at full throttle in 2 or 3 Rd gear notice the bucking Watch "Civic" on YouTube
