Default Type-R block with gsr head.

sup ht, I did a lot of research and can't really find my answer. I recently bought a type-r longblock, I was tearing it apart, and find out that there was 2 sparkplugs STRIP on the head... and little cracks on it... I found a gsr head for $350 pretty good condition around 95K on it, I was thinking about putting a gsr head on my type-r block... it's bone stock with just headers/2.5" straight pipe... will I still make more power than a gsr? or will i actually make less.

You must be new to the B-series performance specs. The gsr head as it is will make less power than the ITR head mainly because the ITR cams are better. If you swap all the ITR head's internal parts over to the gsr head, you will make about the same power as the ITR head. The reason I say "about" is because, now, you gain a little more compression. But, with less flow efficiency because the ITR head is ported from the factory.
