215/75r15 tires on 91 accord ex
do you have 15" wheels?
original equipment on this car is 14." if you don't, forget about it.
are the tires already mounted to some wheels? if so, which wheels are they on?
bolt pattern, hub pilot size, offset are all very important. what it also important is having a wheel wide enough to hold 215. The 15" wheels normally come with 195. 10mm increase is usually ok. in my experience, 20mm increase is pushing it.
are you ok if things rub together a little?
this size you're asking about is 30mm wider (1 1/4") and about 4" larger in diameter than standard equipment. there is no question these will rub, only how much will they rub? This I can't tell you for sure. What I can tell you your speedo' will be wrong (will read slower than actual) and acceleration will be worse than it already is. In the same vein your brakes will need to work much harder to get the same result as before. in other words, they'll be less effective.
Car has 15 inch rims. tires read p195/60r15. Say if found a way to lift car would do you think that might help with it rubbing anything, or is this just a bad idea period?
