Default A few questions about A/C and motor mounts Help please i am scared!

Hi, I have a Civic 2000 DX hatchback. It has a b18b1 swap. My brother bought this car, about a three ago, and recently gave it to me about a year ago, but it was just sitting in the garage for basically a year, just changed everything t-belt, cooler, oil, everything runs like a champ... The guy who my brother bought car off did a half-*** job doing the swap..... VERY SAD.

1. One of my motor mounts is broken.. my car is vibrating really hard, I mean the whole car vibrates very hard, i feel like my engine is going to pop out when i am driving. I am planning on getting new motor mounts, can you guys help me find which motor mounts to by for my B18b1 on a civic 2000 hatch. I prefer getting it online, but i can't find a good one.

2. I just got my A/C recharged today, and as i get to a stop while driving the car feels like it wants to turn off.. Any ideas what it might be? I am scared too even drive this car now.. I mean it feels like it wants to turn off at first gear at a stop. Example- car noise at firstgear at a stop with clutch in. ZZZZZZZzzzzZZZZZZzzzZZZZZ like it wants to turn off then it goes back 2 the same noise.

I tried too do some research, i found these motor mounts, http://www.jhpusa.com/store/pc/viewP...7&idcategory=0 they look like they are the best of the best, but i don't know how too buy it.. do i do the 2 bolt mount or 3 bolt, and what is the urethane? I only use this car too go too school, i don't race in it..

ill bite. You could just remove your old mounts and fill them with 3M window weld or you could spend a bunch on nice mounts. When it says 2 bolt or 3 bolt, look at your driver side motor mount and count the number of bolts that connect to the motor. The link to jhpusa has pictures of both mounts (the furthest right mount in each pic is the respective 2 and 3 bolt mount). If you still can't figure it out post a pic of the mount and I'll tell you.
No idea what to tell you about the A/C, I don't have it

Well I see why you're confused, there are 2 major parts to to that mount. The rubber portion that includes the top plate in black and the left most lower portion that normally has 2 studs. You're so confused because one of your studs broke off. So long story short you'll need a 2 post kit and a new 2 post bracket that attaches to the motor. Or you could buy a 3 post bracket and the 3 post kit. Hope that helps

Second post down this diagram has the 2 post bracket (top right) and 3 bolt (bottom right) that attaches directly to the motor and bolts to the motor mount. You can also buy just the stud if you're able to drill out the old one and tap it. Honestly I'd just buy a used one off eBay. You may not even need new motor mounts

I assume you mean the engine wants to stall when the A/C is on, if so...

There are a few possibilities.
1- A/C compressor is binding.
2- There is a blockage in the A/C system.
3- Expansion valve is N/G, [blockage]
4- Engine is not idling up when A/C is on.

Questions...
1- Who did the recharge of the A/C system?
2- What was it recharged with, [R12, R134a or one of the DIY recharge kits]?
3- If a DIY recharge kits, what kind?
4- What ECU/ECM are you using? 94

Why did you open multiple threads and ask the same question, which I answered for you

The black plastic is broken too it's broken in half, I think it would be better to just replace the whole thing. There are actually 3 holes on the engine black mount a triangle pointing left . Would it be better to get a 3 bolt mount or a 2? If I do get the hasport mounts will I have too get a new bracket and the bolts or will the mount come with the bolts and brackets?

I would like to know that also, unless the B18B1 is pre 94 and whoever did the swap did not retrofit it to R134a, then I would ask why was it not retrofitted????

Either way I do not think that is the issue, however OP has not answered all the questions I asked.

I am guessing the engine is not idling up when A/C is turned on, that would be an ECU/ECM problem, or a wiring problem. 94
