2008 Accord Moonroof Issue
My moonroof started working only intermittently. I hear the click but it doesn't always work. Sometimes it does, but will be stuck much of the time. I've read every blog I can and have not found a solution. I've tried resetting the controls per the manual. I've lubricated the tracks. I checked the fuse. The older model Accords apparently had relays for the moonroof but 2008-present don't, from what I've read and researched. I've looked under the dash and even pulled the headliner. If replacing the motor is the only option so be it, but it's like $200. Anyone out there have any other ideas or resolved this issue themselves?
According to Mitchell, [on demand] there are relays, two of them, a standard polarity reversing ground at rest system.
The relays are in the Moon Roof Control Unit in the middle of the roof.
If you hear a "click", [that will be a relay] then the contacts on at least one of the relays is bad. 94
