#GEH issues, 00 Si b16a2 sputtering/dying
So for the last week or so I've noticed my car sputtering
I was idling in front of my house and it just died
I was cruising and it just died
Each of those times it started again but I had to give it some gas as I turned the key
I didn't drive the car all weekend and I tried to start it this morning and it just wouldn't. It'll crank and it DOES start for half a second as it sputters and dies
I actually made it about 10 ft driving before it died again and it took 5-6 cranks and giving it gas before I could park it back where I had it
I hear the fuel pump (walbro 255) priming
I see it's getting fuel pressure (40-45)
It's getting spark because it does start just stumbles and dies
AFR does show lean when it's on idle but fine under load
What are we thinking peeps?

Can you datalog on your ecu?
When it dies you need to get out and see what's failing. Could be a loose wire from the icm to the ecm. Could be a loose wire from the ecu to the fuel pump relay.

Clogged IACV or fuel pump going bad. My Integra did this when I first bought it.....it turned out to be the fuel pump. And yes, it would still prime. It just wouldn't stay pumping enough to keep the car running.
Also, maybe a bad main relay?

Looking into pump and relay as well

I've been having this issue where the car randomly dies, literally
I left it parked all weekend,Monday morning I tried to start it and it'll start but wont stay on. It starts for a brief second but sounds like its not getting enough fuel, i tried to give it some gas as i turned the key but no luck
After work I tried again and it started right away
I let it idle for about 10 minutes and it died on its own. I kept my eye on the fuel pressure gauge and even when it died, it never lost pressure, lowest point maybe 35psi
Tried to start it again and if I didnt give it any gas as I turn the key, it wont start, but if i give it some gas it starts
I let it sit and idle maybe 4-5 more times, after about 10 minutes,it just dies on its own everytime. It starts again every time by giving it some gas while turning the key..
I'm ruling out alternator because battery would've been drained after all this but it wasnt
I dont think it's ignition related because it does start, just sounds like its not getting enough fuel, (BUT GAS PRESSURE GAUGE SAYS PRESSURE DOE)
Fuel pump can be heard priming
My buddy and I literally stood by the car dumbfounded

I had a dead spot in the ignition of my eg. If the key moved just a little bit it would die.
I had to put the key in just the right spot to keep the car running.
Does it die when your driving?
Doesn't sound like it but maybe also the main relay?

Actually it died yesterday after I got it to start for the first time after driving 10ft from my parking spot
I have a spare main relay but how would I check to see if it's bad?
Nothing seems wrong, starts up, drives fine
it just dies on its own without warning

If it were the coil or any part of the ignition system, wouldn't the car not be able to start? Rather than start but dies after however long it's been running?
pull the ecu and check the pins. I had a 90 prelude that died on me randomly while driving and gave me fits trying to crank it back up. ended up just selling it and the guy had it running a couple days later.
he had to cut/splice the ecu connector as a couple pins corroded off inside the connector. they were barely making contact apparently.
