Default covering starter solonoid to pass track-spec tech?

i just got my conformation for lrp in a couple weeks and in the tech section they said they say the starter solonoid has to be coverd. is there a factory cover thats supposed to be there? can it be coverd in tape? i don't recall ever seeing a cover there, so any info will help. TIA

all they are talking about is a rubber boot over the terminal.

thats what im guessing, because there are 2 wires connected to the starter, the 1 is a PITA to MOVE let alone get off, and the power wire has a big boot on it. it does come stock.
