hey guys, so i have been having trouble with my pce of sht k20a3 and i installed a rbc intake mani no k pro no upgrade fuel system or anything just stock with headers and an intake.anyways i intalled the manifold but wasnt working right, idled weird and i couldnt drive it. there came a point where the car wouldnt turn on at all so i took off my sprak plugs and found out they were soaked with gas. i got new spark plugs put my orginal intake manifold on but still their is some failure when i rev it dies off sometimes turns off. im starting to think its the tps sensor or map sensor so i got a throttle body assembly from a local salvage yard anyways before i go any further untill actually installing this anyone might have any suggestions what could be besides this? thanks.

yeah I bet it's your TB gasket. What gasket are you running? Isn't it allowing air to all the correct ports?

Plus with that big of a manifold change and no tune of course it's going to run like ****.....

 

Yeah i don't think it'd be the map or the tps. I'm gonna go with Spaz and say it's the t.b. gasket...sometimes the smallest things cause the biggest problems.

 

i thought it was the tb gasket i brought it in to my mechanic but he did a leak down test and nothing seemed to be leaking so he didnt bother to put the tb assembly on or the gasket, he checked compression and it seemed as if it was low in one of the cylinders, could it be that maybe this manifold fucked up on my intake valves?? or it just jumped timing or something?? anyways w.e the problem is i will soon be swapping a k24 i just need to know for future possibility of selling this engine.
