Rebuild almost done
After getting fed up with burning oil I decided to do a rebuild: head, bottom end, and trans. Only 95k miles but was burning a quart every 500 miles? I wish I took pics but it was a year in making. I'll get some pics when it's all done and headed to the dyno. My mechanic has a few pics and video on his page.

Awesome stuff! I just had a complete rebuild done on my R as well, trans, head, bottom end. It was burning oil like crazy too, so I know how you feel it's amazing driving and blowing oil out the tail pipe everywhere. It for to the point I just stopped driving it. I've had it for 3 years and it's finally in a drivable state. Congrats on your rebuild and enjoy it!

So far no oil burning at a few hundred miles, before the rebuild it would have been about a quart so far. Hope it lasts. Brand new it burned a quart every 3k.
