Auto seat belt just started working
I've had this car (91 accord) for 2 years auto seats belts never have worked. I changed my fuel pump the other day. Didn't touch a thing other then that. Started the car back up n seat belts work. Anyone got any clue why?
There is a main relay for the seatbelts under the dash. And the control unit is located under the passenger seat. Did you do any work under the dash/seat? Removed/replaced any fuses?
Or simply, there may have been some shared ground wire in the harness with the fuel pump harness or a grounding point and you unintentionally fixed/cleaned.
What did you do exactly while replacing the pump?

I replaced the main relay about a month ago bc I thought it was the problem I was having. But I drove it for about 3 weeks untill I started having bigger problems. Turned out the problem continued so I did the pump. All I did was unhook battery...pull the pump replace it n re hook up the battery. I got seat belts. Beeping when it's not latched n beeping when the key is in ingnition. Never had any of that.
