how hard to swap a B18C1 OBD2 in an 88 crx si?
I cna get a 97 b18c1 us spec for 1400 engine tranny and ecu.
how hard is it to modify the crx to take an obd2 engine.
will I need to do new injectors and distributor?
will it fit in wiht the hood closed?
what do I need to make this work?
or should I just say screw it and buy a b16 and swap it in over the weekend?
thanks for any help.

Swap in that B18C! $1400 is a GREAT deal! If only I could find one that cheap here in California. As for OBDII, I would just avoid it. As far as I know, Pennsylvania is not as strict when it comes to smog as California. So you can probably get away with using a 1994-1995 P72 GSR ECU. This will cost you at most $300 extra bucks. And unlike using a pre-1992 ECU on a 1992+ motor, you can keep the OBDII injectors and distributer.
As for mounting, your only current choice is the Place Racing kit, as Hasport does not yet offer a hydraulic transmission mount. As for the hood, you will either need to (1) remove some of the internal support, or (2) get a taller hood.

The P72 is not plug and play. You need to either change the ECU plugs or buy an adaptor harness. But this is a better way to go than Zdyne. With the Zdyne ECU, you need to change the distributer to a pre-1992 B16A distributer. And these distributers are neither cheap nor easy to find by themselves (not as part of a swap package, that is). The Zdyne ECU itself is also expensive. But with the P72 ECU, you can keep your OBDII distributer.
