I performed a cluster swap 88/89 EX (not sure) to 91 Dx HB and nothing works!!

can someone supply the wire color/purpose code for a 91 Dx guide and one for the 88/89 EX? Please! or tell me the order I need. I also noticed that I have 3 plugs and the Ex cluster has 2 sockets. It is the tiny blue one that it does not use.

There was a link to a guide posted here. I followed the directions. They DO NOT work.

finding an EX cluster wire code would be the problem. I'm not sure if anyone here has one. Best advice is to get a manual for that year car and cluster.

 

Still can't get it. It seems that sometimes wires are the same color, and sometimes they go to nothing . Like pin 12 on the DX connector. has a wire, goes nowhere.

Also the wire guide on that site is way off (for the DX anyway). I am working on getting the correct one figured out but is a pita !!!

Oh well.
